The Japan America Society of Greater Cincinnati hosts a variety of programs and projects ranging from topics in business, educational, cultural and social events, as well as our signature events, throughout the year.
For specific event dates and information, please see our Calendar.

Business

The JASGC's business program lineup consists of several signature events as well as several smaller, more varied events. We also have several great networking events for our business professional members to make new contacts with other members of the society. Some of our popular events include the Nichibei Luncheon Speaker Series, 5:01 Club and our Annual Golf Outing. These programs help to foster new business relations in addition to helping connect our business members.

Educational

Our educational programs have been created to help spark interest in Japan and help foster understanding and shared knowledge.

Cultural and Social

Cultural and Social events, similar to educational events, aid in fostering friendships, understanding, and cultural connections. The Society offers several different cultural and social events to meet these needs.

Young Professionals

In the summer of 2008, a handful of JASGC members decided to start a Japan-American Young Professionals group, creating the Nippon Chachacha Klub (NiCK). NiCK is separate of the Society and membership is free. “Young” and “professional” are loosely defined - anyone interested is welcome to attend.
